Dave is passionate about helping adults learn and implement skills that enable them to experience freedom from depression, obsessions, lies about personal worth, anxiety, and relational distress.
For example couples may feel entangled in an endless cycle of miscommunication that leaves them feeling unheard, hurt, angry and with problems unresolved. Dave helps couples to free themselves from this tangled web by teaching them skills to communicate in ways that respect one another, reduce agitation and help them find resolutions. Dave earned a Degree in Counseling Psychology from Michigan Theological Seminary. (Now Moody Theological Seminary—Michigan). He is a Limited Licensed psychologist currently practicing at RHCC in South Lyon. Dave is a Certified Emotion Focused Therapist. Dave is also an associate pastor at Crossroads Community Church in South Lyon. He has been serving churches in both lay and paid staff positions since 1975. He also holds the following undergraduate degrees: Associate’s of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Central Bible College and BA in Religious studies (theology) from Regent University. He is licensed by the State of Michigan as a limited licensed psychologist (LLP). Dave is listed and verified by Psychology Today. |
